The Truth About This CD giveaway?

To me, music is all about connection. I don't make it just for me - that would be boring.

So this is my way of finding people that want to hear what I'm doing!

How other people like it...

Well if Robbie is any indicator, people jam out! In cars!

“Aaron’s blending of hip-hop beats, rock n roll riffs, R&B melodies, rapping and vocals makes his music part of the un-genre typified by artists such as Gorillaz and Stereo MCs, as well as Digital Underground, Outkast and The Roots (for old skool junkies).”

-- J. Sebastian Dorin

My influences are wide and varied, from The Roots, which I love because they continue the oldest hip-hop tradition of honest, creative story telling without all the gangster posturing, to Rage Against The Machine, who I always dug because they’re revolutionaries who can rock, to Johhny Cash and Bob Wills - they remind my of my roots, but they buck the stifling traditions and closed mindedness of the country establishment, and were constantly looking to collaborate with people outside their box.

I fuse these elements then I get something new that I have a hard time describing – I'm kind of a rappin, rockin, blues man, piano guy, producer dude. You'll have to tell me how you describe it!

"Wait" is not specifically about COVID but rather Trumm's takeaway from the pandemic and the wisdom that came from it. "It's my sort of message to anyone who's currently struggling and kind of wondering, 'What do I do?' " he said. "Like, 'What action am I supposed to take right now when it's darkest?' And often the answer that comes back to me when I sort of say that to the universe is,'Just wait. Don't try to do anything when you're scared and freaked out and everything seems bad. Just wait.' So that's the song."

Aww shucks, kind words from people

One of my favourite albums! I must have listened to it 100 times. Having the talent to create and assemble melodies is one thing. Being able to shape and mold a song to make it sound amazing and professional is another gift all together. Aaron's abilities flourish in both of these worlds.

  • - Robbie, a Canadian

What a massive character and color! This was endlessly fun and really had a way of grabbing your attention! I love that vocal phrasing all over the record!

  • - Buzz Slayer Magazine

I gulped it down in one sitting!

  • - Kurt K.

For me, music (and lyrics) and art in general is all about connecting. It's not often how we survive, but it's what we survive FOR.

Since you're here, I'm thinking you feel similar about art and music. So let me send you a copy of Don't Stop as a thank you!

The cost is...you knew this already...

$0. 🙂

I'm super stoked to get it to you!
